Kathleen M. Kirchner, Esq. is a former Assistants States Attorney for Anne Arundel County. She began her own practice in 2008 and as a prosecutor and private criminal defense attorney, she has handled literally thousands of cases including DUI, misdemeanors, from simple to serious felonies, including homicide and serious drug offenses, as well as family law.

Kathleen's philosophy is to provide an aggressive, affordable defense for all of her clients. She understands her clients' needs very often extend outside the courtroom and she has assisted numerous clients in obtaining additional drug counseling and treatment, as well as mental health counseling and assistance.

As the mother of 7 grown children, Kathleen understands the needs of parents and children. She brings her experience, compassion, and fierce commitment to her family and infuses that same level of commitment to her client's and their needs.
